We encourage all teens to contribute by submitting stories and poems
using the form below. Getting your story or poem posted on WE READ is
simple and easy, and your work will be read by thousands of other
teenagers each month!.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines:
- We accept only stories/poems written by teenagers (ages 11-19
only)
- Submissions must be at least 50 words, and maximum 1,000 words.
- Please use correct grammar and spelling in your submission.
- For security purposes, submission with email addresses or other
contact information within the text portion of your poem or story
will not be published.
- Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization we are unable to
compensate writers in any way and by submitting your poem you agree
to allow WE READ to publish your poem online without compensation..
- By submitting, you are attesting that the submission is your own
original work.
- Please keep in mind these stories can be accessed by children of
all ages. Submissions containing improper or violent content will
not be published.
- All submissions are reviewed by a live person. None are posted
automatically!
- Due to our limited resources, it takes us 2-3 weeks to process new submissions.
